UCS Healthcare Iowa Marketing and Social Media Partnership
Integrity Grove partnered with UCS Healthcare, an Iowa-based outpatient provider specializing in medication-assisted treatment (MAT) and behavioral health care, to lead marketing strategy, social media content, and social media advertising across their growing footprint of clinics. UCS serves communities from West Des Moines to Fort Dodge, Iowa City, Decorah, and beyond, and the goal of this partnership was simple: help more Iowans find compassionate, evidence-based care close to home.
Services Performed
UCS Healthcare came to Integrity Grove looking for a marketing partner who could carry the full weight of brand awareness, community education, and patient acquisition for clinic locations outside of West Des Moines. We built a program around the channels patients actually use, with messaging built for the people who need to hear it most.
Marketing Strategy:
We work as the strategic lead for UCS Healthcare’s marketing program, planning campaigns around clinic-level priorities, patient growth goals, and the realities of advertising in a regulated health and wellness category. That includes content planning for awareness initiatives like opioid use disorder education, location-specific patient acquisition pushes, and recurring communication around the UCS newsletter, mobile clinic services, and community events.
Every plan starts with a clear question: what do residents of this community need to know about UCS, and what is the most effective way to reach them?
Social Media Content:
We produce the day-to-day social media content that keeps UCS Healthcare showing up consistently across Facebook and Instagram. That includes evergreen education around MAT and medication for opioid use disorder (MOUD) services, recovery and wellness messaging, staff and team highlights, newsletter promotion, and clinic-specific content for each UCS location.
The tone is warm, reassuring, and approachable, which matches how UCS shows up with patients in the clinic. Content is designed to make care feel accessible to people who may be scared, isolated, or unsure where to start.
Social Media Advertising:
We plan and manage paid social across Facebook and Instagram, with a focus on awareness and patient acquisition in markets where UCS is actively growing. That includes always-on social advertising to support ongoing brand visibility, as well as focused short-term campaigns built around specific clinic priorities.
Recent examples include a Decorah-focused MOUD awareness push targeting residents of Decorah and the surrounding counties, designed to remind community members that high-quality, supportive care is already available close to home. Read more about the results later in this case study.
Custom Analytics Report:
As part of the partnership, we built ongoing reporting for UCS Healthcare that tracks website performance, social media engagement, and paid advertising results across every clinic location. The report pulls website analytics, organic social, and paid social into a single view, so the UCS team sees what is working without having to log into five different platforms.
These insights give UCS Healthcare a clear picture of how every channel is performing, and where opportunities exist to refine messaging, improve patient acquisition, and connect with more Iowans across the communities UCS serves.
Outcomes and Impact
The partnership between UCS Healthcare and Integrity Grove delivered measurable growth across every channel we touch. In the first six months of the partnership, total website traffic to ucsonline.org grew by 27.26% compared to the previous period, driven by gains across direct, social, and paid channels.
The most notable shifts:
Direct traffic up 184%. A sharp increase in people typing UCS Healthcare or ucsonline.org directly into their browser. This is one of the clearest signals of brand recognition there is. Patients and community members are remembering the name and coming back on purpose.
Paid social traffic from zero to more than 6,000 users. With paid social campaigns now running consistently across Facebook and Instagram, UCS is reaching thousands of new community members who previously had no digital path to the clinic. One recent campaign delivered link clicks at $0.34 each, roughly 81% below the healthcare industry benchmark.
Organic social traffic up 135%. Consistent, on-brand content is driving more clicks from Facebook and Instagram than ever before, supporting both patient acquisition and community education without additional spend.
The compounding effect of strategy, organic content, and paid advertising working together is exactly what the partnership was designed to produce. UCS Healthcare is now showing up more often, in more communities, and reaching more of the people who need their care.
